The 'PH' Song
(it's perfectly balanced!)

I saw a Phoenecian Phoenix, talking on the
phone

Using such phonemics, you'd think he'd
be alone.

I saw a phosphorescence, a-blazing in the
sky.

I looked again and saw it was a
photoatinic fly.

Then Phoebe and some pheasants caught a
phagocyte,

I woke up screaming, found it was a moth
flying round the light.

Philip the phlegmatic had a phossy jaw

Philandering with Philomel had made it
mighty sore.

A phyiloprogenitive philosoper sat down by
some phlox,

His phlebitis was giving him gyp, so he took
off his socks

Phyllis the phocomeliac photocopied a
phyloid shape,

But she was also phtiriasistic, so we threw
her in the lake.

ŠThe Poetic Priestess 1993-1994

(Yes, thankyou. I know you need a dictionary,
that's the point! And I also am well aware that the
last verse does not rhyme properly, but the original
version was nearly mis-spelled because I was
so phlummoxed.)
